What to expect?
Surprises everywhere in this glorious garden – mosaiced steps, an extraordinary sculptural wall mosaic, welded steel sculptures and other creations. Colourful gardens of roses vegetables, citrus, flowers.
There is a flat area of gardens around the house, much seating, and terraced up the hill with surprises at every turn.
In Summer, visitors can enjoy a snack or a meal in the delightful garden cafe “The Artist’s Palate” whilst visiting.

No dogs are allowed in garden.
Please note if there is extreme weather events (such as high rainfall) we may close the garden. Please check our Facebook page for updates.

Special Group Tour Package
Get a special tour through the historic art house, a talk from the artist, and includes garden and gallery visit (minimum 12 per group).
Adult $75
Child $45 (2-15 years)
Cancellation Policy
1. For group booking package of House visit, artists talk, gardens and gallery (minimum of 12 people). Full payment is expected at least 3 days prior to the visit.
2. Group lunch bookings (minimum of 12 people)
3. The Giants House NZ Ltd requires 3 days prior notice for any group number cancellations as per 1, and 2 above, otherwise the full group price will be charged as per the agreed booking number confirmation.
The Artist’s Palate
Enjoy scrumptious home made light lunches, and afternoon teas, at The Artists Palate, offering you the experience to enjoy cafe style food and drinks surrounded by art and gardens.
Simply order from the menu when you are visiting the Giant’s House Artist’s Garden.
The lunch and afternoon tea served in the conservatory . Prebooking is essential.
We can also offer luncheons for groups of 10-20 people: email us to make a group lunch reservation.
Please note that the cafe is outdoor, and might be closed on wet or cold days.
